On my trip to Nicaragua last month, I had the opportunity to tour Pepin Garcia’s My Father cigar factory, wher some of my favorite sticks are made. Above, you’ll see Ron Melendi of De La Concha, where I hang out, trying his hand at the craft.

A Most Unusual Concept

This sign actually did stop me dead in my tracks. Indian and Chinese? I’m not sure I can wrap my head around that concept. Either way, I guess I’ll be taking another trip up to Boston when the place opens.
