About the Migrant Blogger
The Migrant Blogger is a New York-based writer. In order to survive in that profession in this city, it is essential to become a jack-of-all-trades, and MB has succeeded in doing so. His work has appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, British GQ, Boston, New York and several other print and online publications. He focuses on the following areas: adult entertainment, art, media, finance, cigars and lifestyle. In 2008, MB was named Runner Up, Sex-Themed Publication (news and features) for a Sex-Positive Journalism award. The article, which ran in AVN Online, dealt with a questionable search in Iraq that led to the confiscation of adult entertainment materials.

I’m a simple guy. I like to write, smoke cigars, read and walk the city. I used to love cycling, but some asshole stole my bike. I guess I still love biking; I just don’t get to do it much these days. I’m still bitter. These days, my idea of fun is sitting on my Upper West Side stoop with a cigar and a glass of wine, with my fountain pen in my hand.
