What You Want … from the Search Engines

I haven’t done a search term roundup for a while. I’ve been getting a lot of search engine play lately. So, let’s take a look back over the past 30 days. There are some surprises and a few that you’d expect. You’ll ifnd a whole lot of Carmen Luvana, Estonia and Sarah Palin at the Migrant Blogger.

Carmen Luvana, of course, remains my top expression. Her name alone is the top reason people come to the Migrant Blogger, and variations on her name only add to her share of the search results. Carmen Luvana appears alongside AVN (NSFW), Blogspot, smoking and party pics. This continues to surprise me, becuase I’ve run some news about Carmen Luvana, but I don’t exactly have video clips or photo galleries of her. But, I’ll take the traffic.

Variations on Estonian porn continue to hold onto the #2 spot in my search engine results. Keep in mind, I don’t have any Estonian porn on my blog — none at all. I can’t find any Estonian porn. The reason I get this traffic is that I went to Tallinn, Estonia over the summer and wrote about it. I also write a lot about the porn business. So, the combination of these topics has been a great source of traffic.

Then, there are some more unusual topics. I have received a few searches involving the Leading Hotels of the World 1928 promotion. This was a pretty cool article, and it even got me some play on ValleyWag. A few people have even looked for the Migrant Blogger! Several people conducted searches for “confiscated porn,” probably a reference to my ongoing reporting of General Order 1a and the confiscation of porn and dildos from civilian contractors serving in Iraq.

After that, it gets a bit strange:

So, as you can see, a variety of people come to the Migrant Blogger for information. I only hope I can continue to satisfy such a bizarre group of readers.
