Migrant Blogger’s All-Time Top Search Topics

Okay, it’s pretty clear that search engine users who are looking for porn wind up here. The top two themes are Carmen Luvana (NSFW and, again, I understand why this is popular) and Estonian porn (again, I fail to understand). But, that’s what everyone has been trying to find here for months. The top two reasons for visits to the Migrant Blogger are bound to end in disappointment, but people keep coming … kind of like my complex relationship with Deloitte.

What is funny is that the #3 reason for coming to the Migrant Blogger via the search engines is to learn more about SoHo artist Nelson Diaz, particularly in regards to quirky British master Francis Bacon. I’ve also gotten some good play on my coverage of Ottaway Newspapers and the decline of the print media industry. Click here to see what I’ve done with Ottaway, particularly in regards to News Corp., Dow Jones and its then-newly appointed CEO, Andrew Langhoff.

What really blows me away, though, is that several searches were conducted for “blog about jet blue airlines johansmeyer”. That’s pretty specific, so it probably means that I’m developing a reputation as a JetBlue-hater. Works for me.
