Just when I thought “Dunkin Donuts in Helsinki” was as crazy as it gets, I see “Finland Outdoor Porn”. Someone actually typed those words– in that order– into a search engine. This person wanted to find relevant websites. They must not exist, because he found the Migrant Blogger instead. Maybe I should continue to try to be all things to all people. It just might work out.
For personal news, today has been pretty slow. I saw a good piece on the FLDS nutjobs on Jezebel a few hours ago. Those guys would be comical, if only so many lives didn’t hang in the balance. Some of those kids are going to be fucked up for life.
Well, since we’re on the topic, I’m actually not opposed to polygamy. It’s not a choice I’d make for my life (one wife is plenty for me), but I figure that adults who want to enter into a consenting– albeit unusual– relationship should have that choice. Key word: adults. This is where I have a problem with FLDS (aside from thinking that the underlying theology is wacky). Children should not be traded into marriages, or pseudo-marriages. Period. Polygamy for adults? No prob.
